Senior Software Engineer
Platform Discipline - Product Development Group

Position Overview
The role of the Senior Software Engineer is primarily focused on developing our platform and by participating in Feature Teams representing the platform discipline. The role will be responsible for implementing new and updating existing functionality in a manner that emphasises quality and robustness of code to ensure the delivery of a reliable and scalable platform to customers.
The Senior Software Engineer’s role is relied upon more than any other position to provide a solid foundation to the new features we deliver.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret functional requirements and determine unique solutions to satisfy these.
- Identify gaps in requirements and provide feedback to product management.
- Deliver robust software designed to be secure, scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
- Work within an agile development model
- Participate in knowledge sharing and code reviews.
- Comply with all internal processes and procedures.
Key Platform Discipline & Feature Team Responsibilities
- Participate in Feature Teams and work collaboratively with all members of the team including application and platform developers, automation and functional testers, cloud engineers, product owners and the architecture and orchestration teams.
- As a member of a feature team, you are expected to use the expertise of your discipline to deliver elements of the solution as directed by the feature team.
